Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2024  |  Last Updated: January 1, 2024

HoodServe ("HoodServe," "we," "us," or "our") operates the platform available at hoodserve.com (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Platform. Please read it carefully.

1. Who We Are

HoodServe is a subscription-based SaaS platform that provides independent service businesses — cleaning companies, lawn care providers, handyman services, salons, and similar trades — with tools to manage bookings, teams, invoices, client relationships, and their own branded websites.

Our business model is straightforward: businesses pay us a monthly or annual subscription fee. We do not sell your personal information. We do not monetize user data. Our blog may contain affiliate links and Google AdSense ads, both of which are disclosed clearly and covered in detail in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

2.3 What We Do NOT Collect

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly to operate and improve HoodServe:

We do not use your personal data to build advertising profiles or sell leads.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

5. Affiliate Links & Tracking

Our blog may contain affiliate links — links to third-party products or services for which HoodServe may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase. This comes at no extra cost to you.

How affiliate tracking works

When you click an affiliate link, your browser is redirected through the affiliate network's servers, which set a tracking cookie identifying that you arrived from HoodServe. If you make a qualifying purchase within the cookie's validity window (typically 24 hours for Amazon, up to 90 days for other networks), HoodServe receives a referral commission. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details from affiliate networks — only that a conversion occurred.

Affiliate networks we use

Every blog post containing affiliate links includes a clear disclosure notice at the top of the post. You can read our full Affiliate Disclosure for more details. You can avoid affiliate tracking cookies entirely by not clicking affiliate links or by opting out of advertising/affiliate cookies in our cookie banner.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and Google Analytics to understand how the Platform is used. On public blog pages only, we also use Google AdSense (advertising cookies) and affiliate network tracking cookies. No advertising or affiliate tracking cookies are used inside the subscriber app dashboard. For full details and opt-out controls, see our Cookie Policy.
